BEGINNERS:
Firstly, I can get you playing straight away! We all start from knowing nothing, but learning some simple tunes doesn’t take long at all! Everyone starts off at the building blocks of playing guitar, As I say, however well you decorate a house, without good foundations it’s not going to work. I like to get my students to be able to strum a few chords in the form of a song. This shows that it doesn’t have to be difficult to be able to play some well known songs.
I always like to teach single note melody along with rhythm guitar chords as I feel that students benefit much more form being able to see both sides of guitar playing. We will have a look at some all-time classic songs too.
NOTES:
If at any stage there is a particular song that you would look to learn, just tell me and we can look at it in depth (just give me notice beforehand to allow me to work it out!)
And remember, don’t take shortcuts – they’re found at the butchers so leave them there!
